This 125 year-old Cottage was originally
built as the Coachman's House, being situated at the entrance to
Corriegour Lodge which is now a privately owned, Scottish Tourist Board
4 Star, residential hotel. The cottage is situated 18 miles north of
Fort William on the A82, midway between Spean Bridge and Invergarry,
overlooking beautiful Loch Lochy which forms part of the Caledonian Canal in the Great Glen. Access to the loch for
fishing is via a private beach area, and the Hotel Jetty can also be
used by Cottage guests to moor their own craft.
The interior is well-decorated and carpeted, and is fully equipped. The
accommodation comprises of one double-bedded room, one twin bedded room,
shower room (electric shower) with WHB and toilet off, cosy sitting room
with small dining area and feature open fireplace, and a fully equipped
small kitchen (washing machine/drier, cooker, microwave and
fridge/freezer). The rental price includes timed gas central heating and
a supply of coal. Electricity is at the occupants' expense (£1 coin
meter). All bed linen, duvets and two bath towels per person are
supplied. A colour TV, Video and Films are provided. There is a small
fenced garden area to the front with clothes drying area and car parking
to the side. Water is supplied via natural hill spring.
